The Launch Heavy Duty Truck Software License & Adapter Kit is designed for Launch X-431 PAD VII users who want to expand their existing diagnostic tool to support Class 4–8 heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.

The PAD VII already includes the SmartLink C VCI, which provides the necessary hardware foundation.
This kit focuses on unlocking heavy-duty truck functionality through official software authorization and the correct adapter cables.

No diagnostic tablet or VCI hardware is included.

How It Works

1. Hardware: The SmartLink C VCI supplied with your PAD VII / PAD V / PRO5 already supports heavy-duty protocols.

2. Software: The License Card activates the "HD Truck" module within your Launch system.

3. Connection: The included adapter cables allow physical connection to truck diagnostic ports (9-pin, 6-pin, etc.).

Once activated, your scanner becomes a 2-in-1 diagnostic solution for both passenger vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.
